Facilitation:
Branton Consulting has extensive experience facilitating with small and large groups both in community and organisational settings. We have found the approach particularly effective when there is confusion or lack of clarity around objectives.
Our experience includes:
Strategic planning
Determining stakeholder objectives
Public and in-house option and action prioritisation
Diffusing and resolving conflicting views expectations, roles and responsibilities
What Is It?
Facilitation is a process for enabling groups to work cooperatively and effectively. It’s a way of taking diverse opinions and ideas and assisting a groupto arrive at its own answer, decision, or deliverable.
Why Use It?
The main advantage of using facilitation to make decisions is that because the process explores broad stakeholder considerations decisions are more likely to be understood and therefore supported.
When Should It Be Used?
Community planning meetings
Development of policy or Strategies
Development of new or controversial initiatives
Meetings where there are sensitive, capricious or conflicting points of view
